There are clear examples of the knock-on effect of biased data and tools, such as in the generation of polygenic risk scores, where African populations are disproportionately underserved. 

Africa is the largest source of human genetic diversity, a diversity that remains largely unexplored. We believe that the future of drug discovery relies on a deep understanding of African genetic diversity. bixbio builds the tools that make this possible.
