Azard

Azard is developing a GIS (Geographic Information System) tool that can be used to produce a geographically explicit digital twin of the value chain. Among its key functions, the tool makes it possible to combine the three components of physical climate risk: exposure, vulnerability and climatic hazards, in a single environment. In particular, it covers all the climate risks defined by the European Taxonomy, and adopts a systemic approach to the value chain. This includes integrating the direct and indirect dependencies of organisations on human and natural assets: the physical flows that are essential to the smooth running of the organisation. This tool will be fed into and complement organisations' Business Continuity Plans (BCPs).
