Aqua-Q AB

Aqua-Q is a Swedish SME, founded by Ulla and Sudhir Chowdhury, engaged in small scale applied research, innovation, consulting and pilot demonstration activites on water quality. We have developed an optical real-time surveillance, sampling and early warning system AQUATRACK® for early detection of contamination in water.

AQUATRACK® is EU-ETV verified (Environmental Technology Verification) TRL-7 for realtime monitoring and sampling of water quality for three water matrixes i.e drinking water, source water and treated wastewater like MBR (membrane bio reactor).

AQUATRACK® was recognised 2018 by IWA (International Water Association) in Tokyo as the best market changing technology. 2017 received National Energy Globe Award in Teheran and in 2016 received WssTP SME innovation award at Brussels. 

Our focus is water security and consumer safety both in drinking water and treated waste water for reuse. Aqua-Q participates in two international EU R&D projects; Pavrita Ganga for reuse of water and Patho-CERT for safety of drinking water and information to first responders.
