Dakar American University of Science and Technology (DAUST)

Founded in 2017 by Prof. Sidy Ndao, the Dakar American University of Science and Technology (DAUST) is a five-year engineering degree university in the heart of the natural resort of Somone in the Thies region, Senegal. The university focuses on providing its engineering students with a rigorous academic environment with state-of-the-art laboratories that follow the American-style education model which puts an emphasis on research and innovations while encouraging critical thinking and excitement for discoveries.
