BAE - the European Confederation for Angel Investing brings together the national associations representing Business Angels and Trade associations in 12 European countries. BAE represents the most active European networks ad focuses on promoting angel investment, developing market intelligence and the exchange of best practices betwen its members, affiliates and BAE Club members. BAE contributes to public authorities' activities and proposals, working at the European level in close cooperation with members and partners such as BPI France.
BAE also manages pan-European EU-funded programmes designed to foster angel and female investment in particular in the EU and neighbouring countries, notably: ESIL (Early Stage Investment Launchpad / 2017-2019) and WA4E (Women Angels for Europe's Entrepreneurs / 2017-2018). BAE also contributes to numerous European initiatives and projects to accompany start-ups as investors, coaches, advisors, trainers, etc.
