À propos

Fairbrics is a start-up company that aims to address the problem of climate change by transforming CO2 emissions into valuable products such as fabrics, plastics, chemicals, and fuels. Fairbrics uses proprietary technology (8 patents pending) that combines catalytical chemistry and electrochemistry to capture CO2 from various sources and convert it into organic molecules. Fairbrics' main objectives are to reduce GHG emissions, create new revenue streams and markets for CO2 utilization, and contribute to the global green economy. The company is led by CEO Benoît Illy, who has 15 years of experience in scaling up deep-tech innovation, and CTO Tawfiq Nasr Allah, who has expertise in developing new processes for carbon emission valorization. It has 20 employees and 2 locations: A research and development center in Paris and a scale-up lab in Antwerp. A pilot plant is being built in Antwerp. Fairbrics plans to set up a pilot factory by the end of 2026 to advance its engineering capabilities further and expand its product offerings. Its first product will be commercialized in 2024. The company has received a total funding of 26 million euros to date. With its innovative approach and commitment to sustainability, Fairbrics is well-positioned to capitalize on the trillion-dollar business opportunity presented by climate change mitigation and the circular economy.
