WHAT WE DO

Founded in March/April 2015, Reactive Robotics is developing a robotic assistance system - VEMO® - for very early mobilization of patients in intensive care units (ICU).

By providing this medical robotic solution, we​

• assist nurses and therapists in taking care of patients
• enable faster recovery for critically ill patients
• make care more humane by allowing robotics to work hand-in-hand with nurses and therapists

VEMO® - MAKING REHABILITATION THERAPY MORE HUMANE

Reactive Robotics is the first company worldwide to systematically address Very Early Mobilization – VEM – to the critical care unit – with an intelligent, robotic system.

Our solution – VEMO® - complements manual therapy
with an adaptive robotic system and supports nurses and therapists
in their daily duties.

Nurses and therapists are enabled to fully focus on therapy while being relieved from the physically demanding work of mobilizing the patient. One person can single-handedly perform therapy with the patient and speed up the patient’s recovery. In a ward, the available number of care givers can help more patients at a higher frequency of VEM therapie.

THE IMPORTANCE OF VEM

Scientific studies show:
Critical care patiens receiving VEM therapy recover faster than patients who do not receive this Very Early Mobilization therapy.
