🚀👏 A new funding round for a Africa Next startup: congrats to Lipa Later for its pre-Series A round! #AfricaNext
Happy to see that Lipa Later, the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) startup, has raised a $12M pre-Series A funding round, led by our first circle investor Lateral Capital, and followed by VC firms such as the first circle investor SOSV.
The Kenyan consumer credit platform, is led by the CEO Eric Muli, will use this new round to fund expansion in its existing markets of Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda, and also open new operations in Tanzania, Nigeria and Ghana.
