Meet the ACCELERO Local Ecosystem Builder: Entrepreneurial Center of Krapina-Zagorje County
In our ongoing series of features on our ACCELERO project's Local Ecosystem Builders (LEBs), we are thrilled to spotlight the Entrepreneurial Center of Krapina-Zagorje County. This dynamic Croatian organisation is playing a significant role in stimulating sustainable, innovative, and competitive economies at the regional and national level.
Established in 1998 by the Krapina-Zagorje County, the centre has grown to become an independent entity (Ltd.) in 2018, and since then, it has made strides in the development and support of entrepreneurship. In 2020, the centre opened its Business Technology Incubator, enhancing their support for entrepreneurs with cutting-edge technologies and resources.
The organisation’s approach is distinctively individualistic; they cater to the specific needs of their clients at various stages of growth and development. The centre offers a comprehensive service portfolio, including the preparation and implementation of investment projects, running entrepreneurial programs, organizing education, conferences, and other events.
The Business Technology Incubator is an advanced infrastructure concept where creativity and innovation are at the forefront. It is a place where ideas are turned into entrepreneurship, and innovations into new products and services. The incubator offers a wide range of services that meet the needs of the modern business person of the digital age. It provides mentorship and advisory services, and facilitates cooperation to support the realization of entrepreneurial ideas and simulation solutions.
The Entrepreneurial Center of Krapina-Zagorje County is guided by Helena Matuša, its Managing Director. She, together with her team, including Miroslav Macan, the Project Manager managing the Business Technology Incubator, is bringing forth a novel approach to fostering entrepreneurship in Croatia.
The ACCELERO project is excited to have the Entrepreneurial Center of Krapina-Zagorje County as one of the LEBs in our mission to accelerate smart growth across Europe.
