KEYOU is one of the "Top 100 energy start-ups of the year 2020" worldwide

Together with the German Energy Agency (dena), the World Energy Council and with the support of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy, the Start Up Energy Transition (SET) initiative draws up a list of the world's 100 most forward-looking and innovative start-ups every year following a multi-stage selection process. The coveted ranking includes above all those companies whose technologies, solutions and ideas make an active contribution in the fields of energy transition and climate protection or - according to the SET initiative - "whose technologies can revolutionize the world".

A total of almost 570 start-ups from 90 countries competed for this year's SET Award. KEYOU is one of the 100 companies that made it onto the list at the end of the competition, making it one of the "Top 100 energy start-ups of the year 2020". "We are naturally very pleased to be represented by KEYOU on this year's SET100 list. On the one hand, because well-known organizations and experts are behind it, and on the other hand, because the competition has spread to almost 90 countries worldwide," said founders Tom Korn, Alvaro Sousa and Ivo Pimentel.

A small downer: the annual festival, which brings together potential investors, political decision-makers and stakeholders from associations and institutions to celebrate the 100 companies, will be cancelled this year due to COVID-19.
