The ramp-up of distributed green energy sources, electrical vehicles, hydrogen propelled vehicles, data centers, robots and much more requires innovative solutions for long term sustainability. Power modules for electricity conversion must be compact, efficient and cheap. The new industry paradigm is “less $ per Density”. A lot of new strategical technologies are emerging, from batteries, hydrogen fuel cells to wide bangap SiC or GaN switching semiconductors. They open doors to brand new performances and applications previously unthinkable. However, there is a huge need of electronic components for interfacing these new technologies. Higher integration means more self-heating and requires faster control due to shrink magnetic parts.
VDDTECH develops innovative integrated circuits for interfacing between logic and power electronics. We tackle all together speed, high-voltage and thermal constraints that meet the $ per Density challenge. There is no such equivalent on the market.
Benefices for our customers: Ability to absorb boost of power demand or severe environmental temperature, relaxed cooling need, possibility of new usages thanks to the compacity, flexibility and power efficiency, all this with a cost reduction at system level.
