PROBLEM: Buses are a big source of air pollution in Europe, which according to European statistics some cities have of the worst air pollution problems in the EU. Europe has also a huge problem with waste management and landfill dumps.

SOLUTION: Tresoil Biofuels SRL will promote a fast development and commercial take-up and deployment of Powerhouse Energy (PHE) waste to transport fuel (PHEW2H2)-Ultra Heat Temperature (UHT) distributed modular gasification DMG® technology power plant to produce 99.9 % pure hydrogen (H2) at community level to fuel urban transport from municipal and commercial waste (eliminating plastics, worn tyres toxic waste), solving  air pollution and indiscriminate waste dumping into landfill and illegal dumps.

PHEW2H2 is an innovative, decentralized, small scale, disruptive technology solution. The system will produce road fuel quality hydrogen at a cost of 2-4 Euro/kg. The market retail price for hydrogen today stands at 14 Euro/kg. . Clients are able to divest themselves of waste they produce on a daily basis, and take advantage of self-produced hydrogen and electricity for their own use. PHEW2H DMG© process can generate in excess of 1 tonne of road-fuel quality H2, and in excess of 28MW/h of exportable electricity per day.
