SPECTRUM is a innovative and disruptive German company with the goal of providing innovative state-of-the art technological solutions in the fields of high reliable and commercial electronic components for aerospace applications.
SPECTRUM’s highly skilled team optimizes the qualification (test) process for commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) parts, i.e. Electromechanical, Electrical and Electronic (EEE) components, introducing a new quality product named “Space-COTS, due to the use of space-based industrial test procedures, which are not only cost efficient
(systematic test procedures performed at several lots and not individual level) but also modern concerning the newest chip-technology generation and consequently with higher performance than conventional (old) High reliability components (Hi-Rel).
SPECTRUM’s business model consist in procure high amount of premium-selected batches of technologically promising COTS electronic parts from many suppliers at low prices, then perform testing under harshenvironmental conditions (ESA/NASA based test standards) and bring them to the high-reliable electronic market at reasonable prices accordingly to the obtained test results in different quality levels, i.e. markings (labels) for various severe requests.
