Scientific Visual supplies automated equipment for optical quality control in industrial sapphire and other synthetic materials for semi-conductor and optical use. 

The company developed a highly innovative technology to detect and to map defects in raw optical materials in advance of processing. Based on in-house IP, the technology considerably increases yield in material usage and decreases processing costs. Our first products were unveiled in 2013 (SapphiroScan) and 2015 (SapphiroScope) and are priced to allow customers payback within a 1-2 years period.

Though originally envisaged to inspect synthetic sapphire - used in the LED, smartphone and watch industries - our products raised strong interest in other industries as well: inspection of bearing jewels for the watch industry, orthodontic ceramic for dental prostheses, silicon carbide used for power electronic in electrical cars.
