Polybion® aims to create a series of new commodities in the form of meta materials, and Celium® is the first of this series; a bacterial cellulose based biotextile with industry grade performance and unique characteristics that aims to become a new gold standard material. Cellulose is the most abundant biopolymer on the planet. Polybion® is working with forward-thinking, global, consumer brands in fashion, sportswear, apparel and automotive sectors to make bio assembled materials such as Celium® a mainstream commodity and to market biology’s wonders to the world. 

Polybion® just closed a 4M Euro Series A Round lead by Swiss International Fund Blue Horizon Ventures & Joined by Mexican Fund Lantana BioSoft, the capital will allow Polybion®  to deliver their first in-scale batches of Celium® for global brands.
