Magnomics

Magnomics is a diagnostics company committed to delivering a new generation of molecular diagnostic tests, with applications in the veterinary, human health and food industry markets. Since its inception in 2013, over €2M in seed financing has been raised through grants and investment, namely venture capital, EU non-refundable subsidies and business angel funds.

These funds were used to develop, as well as to demonstrate the potential of, a fully integrated, easy to use portable in-vitro molecular diagnostic device to detect bacteria in any substrate without the need for specialized facilities and user knowledge, while also reducing the lead time for treatments. The solution’s detection technology IP is currently protected.

The company integrates eight collaborators, five of them founders, and includes a well-established set of advisors with worldwide expertize.
