Heyday Integrated Circuits (“Heyday”), the creator of the power-thru technology for gate drivers, today announced the company has been recognized as a Cool Vendor in the May 2020 Cool Vendors in Technology Innovation Through Power and Energy Electronics report by Gartner, Inc, the world’s leading research and advisory company (Gartner subscription required). According to the report, “this research outlines four technologies from emerging providers whose innovations, being foundational, offer significant savings across electrical use cases with growing customer success.”
In the Cool Vendors in Technology Innovation Through Power and Energy Electronics report*, some of Gartner’s key findings include “viable emerging power and energy-related technologies are improving the return on investment across multiple digital initiatives, including edge data centers, mobile robots and electric transport” and “the benefits of these power and energy innovations go beyond savings in the electricity bill and include broader OPEX, CAPEX, size (power density), safety and reliability improvements.”
Heyday’s products, isolated gate drivers with unique power-thru technology, are a critical component in power electronics module, and deliver substantial benefits in the conversion of electricity in a wide range of applications from 75W laptop chargers to industrial robots and electric vehicles.

Heyday est fier d'annoncer que son projet "Heyday Lily", a été sélectionné dans le cadre du "concours innovation" du programme des investissements d'avenir (PIA), et qu'il pourra bénéficier d'un soutien financier de 417.000 euro.
Dans ce projet, Heyday va développer des gate drivers bi-polaire pour alimenter des commutateurs en Gallium Nitrite. L'utilisation de ces commutateurs avec les gate driver Heyday permettra de réduire les perte de conversion d'électricité jusqu'à 50% à chaque conversion. Au vu des multiples conversions entre la production et la consommation d'électricité, cela permettra de fortement réduire la production d'électricité à consommation égale.
