GEOLITH motivation is : MAKING LITHIUM SUSTAINABLE.

Lithium industry is faced with several challenges to be fully part of the ENERGY TRANSITION momentum with the BATTERIES, such as increase it production by 6 to 8 in the next 10 years to cope with demand, diversify its sources to secure supply and make that with minimal environmental impacts.

For that GEOLITH offers breakthrough technologies for the clean production of lithium from brines.

On the one hand, a process for purifying concented brines that will boost current production on South American salars by improving extraction efficiency.

On the other hand, a process for extracting lithium from low-concentration brines. This will considerably increase the available reserves (e.g from geothermal sources and many others)

GEOLITH has been awarded several financing and prizes and obtained its first contracts in spring 2019 with SQM (world leader in lithium), then Eramet and Total. 

GEOLITH raised €255,000 from its advisors in July 2019 and is supported by BPI France as part of the FrenchTech Seed with €250,000 of convertible bonds. GEOLITH is the winner of a competition from ADEME within the framework of Future Investment Projects for an amount of nearly 450 000€.

A fundraising event planned for the end of 2020 after the start-up of a prototype on a mining site at SQM in Chile.
