FGen is an emerging Swiss Biotech company active in mircobe development and optimization. We combine biological engineering, such as synthetic biology or non-GMO methods, with our proprietary screening platform to desing cells for various biotechnological applications. As a contract research organization we globally collaborate with partners to generate commercially viable microbes for existing or new markets. Our competitive advantage is our screening platform that enables the analyis of large cell libraries at rates of more than 1 million clones per day, thus surpassing the throughput of competing methods by orders of magnitude. In combination with our expertise in biological engineering we significantly reduce the costs and time until a microbial product reaches the market.
