Experoment aims to become the first fully automated Lab as a Service, that democratises access to R&D automation as it reduces the cost of pharmaceutical research, by merging the latest advancements on cloud computing and laboratory automation, to enable Machine Learning. To harness the full potential of Machine Learning for pharmaceutical R&D, high quality input data is required. However, most experiments are highly irreproducible due to human error that occurs during experimental description and execution.

Experoment solves the problem of irreproducibility by combining state-of-the-art cloud technologies (IoT, Digital Transformation, Software as a Service) and cutting-edge laboratory automation, providing for the first time a realistic approach for the development of a fully automated cloud-lab for preclinical in vitro experiments. Experoment’s innovation is a three-step user workflow: fast experiment description (web-platform) – accurate experiment execution (robotics) – digitized data that allow data analysis (Statistics, Machine Learning).

Experoment’s unique and ground-breaking technology disrupts the long-standing and regressive 8 billion euro Contract Research Organization market and ultimately lowers the cost of pharmaceutical treatments, enabling sustainable health-care for the EU citizens.

We are currently raising our seed round to respond to our customers’ orders expressed through six Letters of Intent for services of total value of 500’000 euros.
