ENOSIS

We must change our energy system if we want to limit Earth warming below 2°C. Electricity began its green revolution 25 years ago. The gas, key to the energy transition, is just starting his own. There are now new non-fossil gases, issued from waste. They are called biogas or syngas and can be used in our stoves, buses or industrial ovens. To this end, they must be turned into a renewable or synthetic methane, the use of which is growing significantly worldwide. In France, the government has set to 10% their proportion into the gas grid by 2030.

ENOSIS, previously LEAF, is a start-up located in Toulouse (France) which designs and sells equipment to produce methane from biogas, syngas or by-product gases of industrial processes. To this end, in partnership with a R&D lab (LISBP), ENOSIS has developed a biological technology, biological methanation, to convert carbon dioxide.

ENOSIS' equipment also allows to interconnect the electric grid with the gas grid. In that respect, ENOSIS' equipment can altogether produce gas and provide services to the electric grid, such as electric grid balancing and the storage of renewable electricity surplus.

Contributing to the design of smart energy networks, ENOSIS thus proposes innovative solutions, which support renewable energies growth.
