ENERGIOT develops intelligent wireless autonomous devices capable of harvesting residual environmental energy, allowing the elimination of the use of batteries, and enabling a non-toxic environment for the Internet of Things (IoT).

We offer a UNIQUE solution that enables a global IoT implementation in the grid for the grid operators, TSOs and DSOs, to instantaneously detect unpredictable events that affect power losses and operational costs. Savings up to 10 % of energy and up to 20 % of maintenance costs can be achieved.

Energiot is a high-tech startup company founded in 2017 as a spin-off of Centro Nacional de Microelectronica, IMB-CNM (CSIC), and is based in Barcelona. The breakthrough innovation proposed by ENERGIOT is based on the Ph.D. thesis of co-founder and CEO Gonzalo Murillo, which is protected by the PCT patent WO2016/207458-A1.

ENERGIOT has been a finalist of several entrepreneurship programs, such as the EDF Pulse, KIC Climate and Cleantech Camp. Also, the entrepreneurial spirit of its founder has been recognised Most Novel Innovator under 35 in Europe by the MIT Technology Review in 2016, 75 innovators under 35 of Spain by El Referente in 2018, and others. EIT Innoenergy is an investor partner in the company and big companies from the energy industry have shown their willingness to carry out a pilot in their facilities (currently we have 7 Letters of Interest from clients).
