As the world's population grows, precious metals are increasingly in demand, scarce, environmentally destructive and expensive. Faced with this major challenge from a business and environmental point of view, DAUMET is a materials science company whose mission is to preserve life by saving precious metals.
How do we do this? By developing innovative materials and processes that substitute precious metals with cheaper and more efficient ones.
Our technology would eventually save more than 100 tonnes of gold per year, a major positive impact from an environmental and social point of view. We are also opening up the possibility of using gold for industrial purposes that were previously unknown, thanks to properties that were never used before.
The first two gold solutions developed by DAUMET are the whitest 18-carat gold in the world and a finishing know-how that now makes it possible to use gold with sobriety on luxury products.
In five years, DAUMET has gone by bootstrappingfrom the laboratory to producing hundreds of pieces for the luxury world, to which the company brings innovation in design, sustainable development and higher margins.
After defining an efficient service/market with a simple distribution channel, the company is now raising its first funds to finance its growth and develop its production tool.
