🎆 👏 Congrats to Afrikrea for its pre-Series A round! #AfricaNext
Happy to see that Afrikrea, now rebranded ANKA, raised a $6.2M pre-Series A round led by our first circle investor Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P), and followed by VC firms such as the existing investor Saviu Ventures.
The marketplace for African-inspired clothing, accessories, arts and crafts, is led by 3 co-founders, such as the CEO Moulaye Tabouré. The Ivoirian company will use this new funding round to build out the mobile infrastructure of ANKA’s e-commerce SaaS, and to boost talent acquisition across its product, tech develoepment, sales and finance teams.
