Euromed Capital promotes exchanges and cooperation between all capital investment actors from both shores of the Mediterranean, such as investors, funded companies, lawyers, consultants, and private or public international associations involved in the field. It aims to facilitate their business flows between Europe and Africa.
The Association’s actions are acknowledged by the legal authorities and actors of SME and ETI financing. It is also a forum for its members, and its endeavors are focused on gathering investors and entrepreneurs from both sides of the Mediterranean to allow the exchange of best practices and to reflect on regulatory, legal or fiscal evolutions in the field.
The Association's mission is to inform, provide training, and encourage networking between African and European companies.
These actions have significantly contributed to the development of the administrative, political and operational ecosystem of SME / ETI financing and development , and have thus had a positive impact on the promotion of employment.
A network, source of visibility
In 2017, the Association aspires to conduct numerous projects such as:
- Organizing physical meetings between senior managers.
By capitalizing on business relations between members of the Association, meetings will be organized between senior managers from companies originating from both shores of the Mediterranean so as to promote interactions, funding opportunities and, where appropriate, cooperation between these companies.
- Organizing digital meetings.
Member senior managers from both shores of the Mediterranean will be able to meet online, present their respective company, discover each other’s products, share experiences and find business partners.
- Organizing trainings for the benefit of managers.
A recent illustration is the organization by Euromed Capital, in partnership with Bpifrance, of a training seminar on "Organizing one’s growth in Africa" from 11th to 13th October 2016 at HEC Paris. This seminar brought together 13 African and French companies from the portfolios of the Association's partners. Its objective is to foster networking between senior managers and entrepreneurs from the North and the South, in particular through numerous exchanges and practical exercises. Other seminars will be organized in France or in Africa.
- Organizing the Euromed Capital Forum.
This Forum has several objectives: to bring together different players in Private Equity and share their experiences, to create professional bridges throughout the Euro-Mediterranean Basin, to foster the growth of private sector companies and to create jobs and contribute to the development of Private Equity in the region.
