About your organization / profile

Udugu Botswana (Pty) Ltd is a trusted Enterprise Support Organisation (ESO) and Pan-African innovation advisory firm based in Gaborone, building practical bridges between entrepreneurs, government, DFIs, academia and investors to unlock inclusive growth. We operate at the intersection of technology, business and the humanities—designing programmes, convening ecosystems, and translating strategy into implementable action across sectors including technology, agriculture and food systems, education, healthcare, financial inclusion, retail and energy.

We are best known for “ecosystem choreography”: bringing the right stakeholders into the room, structuring high-quality participation, and producing outputs that survive beyond the workshop slide deck. Our track record includes co-delivering Botswana’s first National Entrepreneurship Policy Hackathon with the World Bank Group and the Ministry of Investment, Trade & Industry—work that contributed to the national policy being ratified by Parliament—alongside facilitation and programme delivery for entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives that prioritise youth, women, jobs and poverty reduction. We have also supported national digital economy priorities, including participation in the technical team that assisted Government to develop Botswana’s National E-commerce Strategy and ICT Policy Review (launched October 2021), and workstreams linked to the World Bank’s Digital Economy for Africa (DE4A) Botswana diagnostic (Digital Business pillar).

Our model is deliberately execution-oriented. Through the Udugu Startup Operator (USO) approach and our digital mentorship innovation network (iKgotla), we help founders reduce friction in the fundamentals—finance, legal, strategy and technology—while accelerating market access, compliance readiness, and investor preparedness. We are also the local Seedstars Ambassador, identifying and elevating high-potential technology startups into regional and global pathways.

On EuroQuity, we are looking to connect with EU-aligned partners, funders and capacity-building programmes seeking a credible, locally-embedded implementation partner in Botswana and the wider SADC region—one that can originate quality pipelines, convene multi-stakeholder partnerships, and deliver measurable outcomes with strong governance, reporting discipline, and on-the-ground execution.
