The Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) is the largest specialized health sciences university in Lithuania, dedicated to advancing education, research, innovation, and evidence-based practice in human and animal health. Established in its modern form in 2010 through the integration of medical and veterinary education traditions dating back to 1922, LSMU is a public university based in Kaunas, a major academic and innovation center of the Baltic region.
LSMU educates over 8,000 students and employs a strong community of researchers, clinicians, and academic staff across its Medical Academy and Veterinary Academy. The university offers a comprehensive portfolio of degree programs in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, public health, veterinary medicine, animal sciences, and related biomedical fields.
